WHAT TO EXPECT
Joining the Group

While we do require a vocal placement/private audition to join this chorus, we are open to singers of many skill levels. Whether you sightread to perfection, love the thrill of a solo, or enjoy the blend of being in a group, we want members who love music, love learning, love a challenge, and whose voices are valued as a beautiful instrument.

Practice Information

Rehearsals are held in Flossmoor every Tuesday evening from 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Sectionals will be held throughout the season as needed. Sectional times and locations will vary. To cover music and other expenses required in a community chorus, dues are $120 a season per member. Payment plans and scholarships are available.

Concert Information

The Grande Prairie Singers perform three concerts per season; one in December, one in April, and one in June. Locations vary on a rotational basis. Concert attire will be discussed before each performance.

Chorus Connection

Chorus Connection is a great resource utilized by members as a tool to support learning music for our concerts. Listen to your isolated part for each song, and hear the full chorus version as well.
